Think the noise is a relay buzzing as it has a poor supply/earth and if cant fully latch. Easy engine to work on so should find cause in no more than ten mins if it was a job I was attending at work

Check earth to engine and quality of feed. Basically a volt drop test. Batt neg to block with multimeter on volts and get assistant to try crank over. If above .5v you have earth issue. Also do same batt pos to starter main feed if above o.5 v poor feed

I'd say blockage caused high back pressures damaging Internals of turbo

Trailing arm mount or you have torn a bush. Mine was doing that aswell very badly on power to off power would steer the car if u tried hard. New bushes and bolts and it drives superb now

Fitted an allbright solenoid as standard can types were sticking. Can tell massive difference already and stopped my headlights keep falling out when I go offroad. Earlier in the week I've cut arches and fitted flexi arches. Fitted spacers and done loads of welding. Still got sills to lol at yet

Looking for set or tree sliders for disco 1 5 door that mount to sill and chassis and must be ok to fit on car that has flexi arches or I can cut them down myself. I live in Wolverhampton area so local is preferred or courier if not. Cheers guys and gals. Regards Andy

From the readings you say you have no excitation feed to alternator. Check it tomorrow but have piece of wire ready to hove 12v to it direct to test it as you have been told already. I feel it will charge straight away if u do

Most likely your solenoids are the issue. I've got a new one on order for mine at the moment

I'd guess at it will be new crank seal leaking and your gona be replacing the cambelt kit again as it will be damaged through oil contact.

As above and cutting is great fun do all four in 2 hours with two 1 mm disks
