misfire was only occational in the begining and would clear if ignition switched on and off. after a couple of weeks it became constant and i could not cure it with the ignition.. i did clean the ECU plug as there was a trace of oil there but this made no diference.. i feel it would be more...

i had a pipe burst and repaired it with a 3/8" hydraulic re-useable connector. simply cut out the small hole, thus making the ends good and re-joined using the connector (just the same as you would with copper waterpipe) cost me a fiver from local hydraulic shop!!

Sorted!!, Changed The Injector Loom And Now 100%

SORTED!!! fitted a new injector loom and the old girls 100% again, not an hours job start to finish... any problems missing, don't hesitate, CHANGE THE LOOM!!

have you changed your loom yet, just curiuos as i plan to change mine in the near future...Si

have had my td5 on the computer due to runnin on four cyl, fault is open circuit on No5. anyone any ideas as what it could be ?? which is No5 pot ? g/b or rad end of engine??

i have a secondhand prop, its off a 2000 model td5. been saving it as a spare but have had no problems with mine. let me know if you need it, or any more info..

looks like i'm not so lucky.. on start up it does run nice and even for around 7 or 8 seconds then becomes all uneven and lumpy.. it has not run corectly for a few days now and i,m begining to put off using it and take the wifes 206 cabriolet !!! PLEASE HELP i don't want to be branded a...

no smoke at all.. have cleaned conectors to ecu with contact cleaner and air.. do i strip black sheathing off loom to clean ??and if so how for back ??

i had missing type of problem every now and again but this cleared itself if i turned the engine off and on a couple of times.. now the misfire is constant.. i have cleaned the ecu conections as there were signs of oil, but still missing.. could i be ready for a engine loom ?? any ideas...

hi, now and again my disco (99) seems to be running very uneven, more prominent when cold. it sometimes clears quite quickly but has been known to last the full 13 miles to work.. i have changed the fuel filter but i am now wondering about the engine harness !!! any advice pleae..would this be...

i have changed the filter near the rear wheel but i'm not sure of the location of the rotor filter, can anyone help please.

i am losing oil from around the pump area, i have secured all the fittings the best i can from underneath, but i can not seem to pin-point the source of the leek. does the pump unit itself leak from the seals as they wear / is it a case of renew the pump ?? thanks

maybe stating the obvious but did they fit a new gasket !! did mine myself, bit fidely with big hands but nice and steady and no real problems....
