I understand what your saying so you can't immobilise the vehicle with out locking it so perhaps it's the fuel cut off playing up? I went over a few humps that's all! I never felt the fuel cut off click or anything when I pressed it ,it just wouldn't start turning over fine ..

Yeah I've replaced 5 missing bolts just the long one to go vibrating has gone !! Nice to drive now just need to get a remap,my last disco got rear ended while parked up it had a plug in box I fitted 138ps it changed everything ,it's done 180k now no blue smoke starts on the button little black...

That's what's happened the two have been bent up then trapped not in the bell housing but between the head and bell housing and just left like it presumably by a reputable landrover dealership ,first I need to get some more jizer and give it a jet wash

Seems the EGR coolant pipe brackets that attach to the gearbox the o/s one is trapped between the gearbox and the cylinder head ! It won't budge ,I've found some bolts 5 where missing all except the long one under where the pipe is trapped, think I'll wait till I get a rocker gasket then tackle...

Yep no bolts in the top of the gearbox at all !!! Just looking at the invoice from Beadles reckon they couldn't be bothered to put the bolts back in the gearbox/engine properly ! Only done about 1000 miles since they replaced clutch till I acquired the disco , now I have to trace some bolts...

Was wondering about that as I can lift that pipe up and down I guess it's either broken or the bolt is missing panic over! Wonder if I took the rocker cover off I'll be able to get to it? Think it's one of many leaks !! Oil filter housing ,transfer box /gearbox seal asw

Looks like another bolt is missing that holds down the EGR coolant pipe bracket

Just found this it should be attached by the gearbox to engine bolts I noticed there's one or two bolts missing when I changed the gearbox oil think it's beadles handywork landrover dealership blackheath when they charged the previous owner extortionate amounts of money to change the clutch...

Did you have any noise in the disco after removing the soundproofing? If not I'll throw it over the hedge with the empty jd bottles and the the bud cans !! Btw did you remove pipe 6 or was it just a fix?

Well that's me fooked packed up smoking last month ...I'll have a look tomorrow another day another dollar.. did you notice the mounting O/S does it have a rubber bush in it ? Mines just a metal clamp with enough room to put my finger through the bottom?? It's on the rear of the head btw cheers...
