Yep,totally agree with disco mark,my brother and I have both bent are steering guards so def a good idea,just makes ya wonder wot sort of mess steering would be without it as there not easy to bend : )

Yea deffo watch the fuel filter pipe,as I didn't,even after green hornet warned me : ( very pleased with it now it's lifted tho.def attracted quite a lot of lift related questions at oxley shaw on Sunday.

Wot an awesome day ! 6 inches of water thru car,brake hose ripped off,couple new dents and a tyre wrecked,ok the tyre was the 2 trips down water lane on way home lol.me and the family really enjoyed,thanks to tv4x4 and for everyone's help today,ESP my brother,cheers for ur help Matt.

no the winch isnt for everyday use.i have ropes etc in the disco and was offered this baby winch practically free so thought any winch would be better than no winch.as i said at the start of the thread im a newbie at all this off roading lark and dont want to go out spending thousands on a hobby...

yea thought 4000lb was abit weak but it was practically free so thought that was worth using with the friction of the wheels turning or am i wasting time and effort lol
