Yes it would be dangerous if the pipe split due to an accident but a series 2a ain't exactly safe anyway with a solid steel dash ;) You could route the pipes so you got the heat in the cab but the pipes were away from you in the event of an accident. I wanted them near the screen so routed...

Well spotted! It had a 12v fan/heater under the passenger seat when I bought it but it didn't work so I ripped it out but never got round to removing the switch so it doesn't do anything :lol:

If its got edc which I don't think 200tdi's did,the pump is controlled by an ecu so you can't manually adjust it. If the pump is the same as the one shown at the start of this thread you will be able to adjust it.
