This is the problem you see,i don't particularly like diesels but wouldn't want to run a stage one with a v8 as a daily driver. I don't really want to rip the V8 out of a rare landy either but it is being offered to me for next to nothing,on the condition that i restore it and use it for myself...

I've always fancied a s3 109 station wagon as a daily driver but never got round to buying one. Don't go any bigger or wider than 235/85/16 and fit lwb rims or modular rims then the tyres won't rub on the springs. I have 265/75/16's on modular rims on mine and its a bastard to park due to the wide tyres making the steering heavy.

The diaphragm is shaped like a cam at the bottom of it where it touches the fuel pin so if you go too far it will go past the high point and start backing it off having the opposite effect,just make sure you've not gone too far.

Nothing wrong with a good set of standard springs but they do need servicing once a year to stop them from seizing.Get a good set of parabolics and you won't ever want to go back to standard,they are a lot softer ride and don't need any maintainence at all but you get what you pay for so which...
