Is it worth getting a set of rock sliders and tree bars that DONT bolt onto the chassis outriggers? I've seen a nice pair for a decent price but there's no point me buying them if they will be useless. I'm mainly hoping to be able to reinforce my sills, protect my lower doors a little, cover...

I've greased the pads up and the pins - are there supposed to be the metal plates on top of the pads like on the rear? Neither side on the front had them on - just the pins with the split pins in the end.... Just checked paddocks and the front is only the springs and the pins, not plate...

I keep hearing a clattering noise from the front. I thought it was a wheel bearing but I've found out one of the pads it shaking and clattering around in the calliper. It's really loose! I only fitted them a few weeks ago. The brakes work fine. It all went together properly and I'm convinced...

That's where I'm taking it from, the pipe from the turbo to the lift pump diapraghm. I guessed that that was the most pragmatic approach! Surely if the boost is running higher, it will compensate by adding more fuel (to a degree?)

I did read some where else the reading won't be exactly 1 bar unless you tap into the manifold itself. I've used the pipe that feeds the fuel pump so thought this would give me the best indication. I ran it up to full throttle under load and it still barely gets past 0.75. I will try cleaning...

Why not buy some out there and ship them back to yourself? You can get around the import charges by sending them back as warranty replacements - this way you can still insure the consignment to the true value but you won't have to pay any tax. Or bring them back on the plane! You might find the...

Fuel filter is a possibility and it's cheap and easy to do.

Well I would personally bodge it for the MOT and plan to repair it properly at some point.....some fibre glass and a few coats of underseal are normally enough to hide that type of corrosion!
