    EAS Inhibit helps ride.....

No it's not. It's there to prevent automatic changes between standard and motorway ride heights.

    EAS Inhibit helps ride.....

I too have my car on motorway setting (above 50mph height) with the inhibit switch on permanently. I think its unnecessary to keep going up and down all the time between 30mph - 50mph. When I need height, I just use the rocker switch. Car suspension operates spot on all the time.

Coil springs! Why would anyone do that to the car!

Blimey, I can understand why he delivered pizzas now. Anyway, it would be a fine pizza delivery vehicle. :)

Coil springs! Why would anyone do that to the car!

Anyone who considers coils better over correctly working air suspension are simply in denial!

Coil springs! Why would anyone do that to the car!

I replaced my airbags when I got my car 2 years ago as they had leaks (60k miles and 8 years old). I also replaced all o-rings Inc in the valve block and the diaphragm. The suspension works like a dream. I too agree that removing the correct set up takes a big part of the luxury away. If...

    p38 glow plugs

Just did a quick search and found some helpful answers..... When engine becomes difficult to start. When dash light takes a log time to go out. So I guess there is no set interval like spark plugs, as the glow plugs just start the engine, and not keep it going like a spark plug. :)

Can't get new head unit fitted correctly!!!

I have a new headunit to fit and it plugs in to the 2 connectors in the cars wiring. When I turn the ignition on and turn the stereo on, it works just fine. As soon as the car is turned off, it loses its memory, so it must not be getting a constant supply of elecy. The left...

Changed head unit...now no instrument lights, etc..

I removed an annoying Parrot bluetooth kit that had been installed in the car before I got it yesterday along with the crap Sony headunit. The Parrot has a loom that fits in the original car stereo wiring, and that's pretty much it, so it came out, and I fitted then new headunit and now I HAVE...

    p38 Brake pads

Yeah sure that would make a difference. BUT you'd have to buy a certain side, not just some front pads! Like I said, it's been a while. I'm sure they are 'sided' if others have said they are.

    p38 Brake pads

I have not changed the brake pads for over a 18 months on my P38. But by what I remember, one pad has a spring that clips into the piston (or at least my Vectra is that way) and the outer pad just kind floats there on the carrier. Maybe the P38 does not have a spring that clips in the...

    p38 Brake pads

The pads drop on to the caliper carriers only one way, from the top! By memory I can't think how you could fit them incorrectly.
