I have a hi lift it is mounted on the roof rack but it has been on the spare wheel. I only have it for off road using a lift mate to lift a wheel but i would never use it for changing a wheel for that i have a mercedes sprinter jack NEW 2.6 TONNE TON MERCEDES SPRINTER VAN BOTTLE JACK WILL FIT...

Why are you trying to price to the market this is a flawed model for small scale production. Why not price it based on the production cost plus a modest profit.

I added another front recovery point to mine just welded a stud in to bolt it onto so i can now use a bridle so provided the included angle is less than 20' each point only sees half the load.

Ive got a slim optima battery that is going on its side in the tool compartment in the boot it fits if you remove the compartment lid and replace it with a bit of ply that spans the entire boot floor

Had a Diff Mount BBQ I have had a rear diff mount fail after less than a year which has taken the diff seals with it so im going to try some floflex polly bushes hence the flames to burn the old rubber away

I have the same doubts about my glow plugs. My glow plug light does not come on like the rest of ghe warning lights oil batt ect should it and is there anyway to force the glowplug system to work in higher temps so it can be checked

How have people moved the fuel lines i just pulled mine down below the chassis rail with a bracket but id like to make a better job

ok thanks mine is pre facelift though will have to have a check to see if its right i want to know how it goes as i bought a spare belt to carry as the aux belt left me dead in the water no power steering no alternator no water pump so didnt want to be stuck again :Cry:

Was that on a td4? he said the path was far more complicated than the haynes pic he got a diagram from his laptop

Does anyone have a diagram of the path the aux drive belt takes i had mine replaced by the aa at the side of the road and he said the pic in my haynes manual was nothing like :cool2:
