Thanks Mr Datatek I did put it on diagnostics and it came up with under boosting/boost control valve so need to find it and check the little bugger thanks for a reply tho

Hi all, just replaced turbo on a 2004 range rover sport but it goes well then looses power and comes up with boost control fault code, where can I find the boost control valve under the bonnet?? Many thanks people

Yes the L322 are ugly front end wise but its still the newer Shape than mine and not too much different from the latest, I converted my bosses p38 to the L322 front and was amazed at how much I had to chop out so needles to say I didn't do it to mine, surely though it would only be a case of...

Sooo were sayin that it all depends on what the original customer orders as extras so if I find somert I like I've just gots check the extras and ignore the badge? When I was getting my p38 I knew what it had just from what badge it had, would of helped if it had said money pit next to the DSE...

Some excellant points there people, my budget is only around the 6 or 7 thousand mark so I'm gonna be looking closely at what ever I find but I must admit the early L322 on flea'bay fetch around £6,500 ish. Now I'm not too botherd about repairs as I work for a very distinctive garage repairing...

So it's just like the gearbox on my p38 as that's died after chipping the engine (diesel) but still usable just got to select 1st then drive (auto) I'd love the v8 on gas but they hold there money when LPG already.

Thanks for that, does the newer range suffer problems with the diesel being chipped like my p38 with gearboxes and potential overheating etc or do they suit being chipped?? and my p38 is something I'm gonna keep after all the blood tears and sweat along with sleepless nights I've suffered...

Well I'm thinking of gettin a newer 1 possibly around a 52 plate, don't no what engine as I like the td6 straight engine (newer version of my M51) or the v8 with the power but what's the fuel differances like, I work on um both at work etc but don't really no which is the best, I just fix um...

I boiled mine 4 times on motorway towing heavy trailer and it was fine after replacing rad fan and thermostat so it might not be bad news, I'd defanatly do the sniff test befor you condem it, good luck

Mine died 6 month after fitting the PSI box, I set off from work up hill then put foot down and it kicked down from 2nd to 1st and bang the spragg clutch failed so now when I stop I have to set off in 1st then over 10mph select drive. Saying all that though I'm still keeping the psi box fitted...

I've seen a few of them fitted (wired) wrong at work, don't no who's fitting these but they need to check there wiring colours, unless it's some Chinese import supplied with wrong wiring diagram or colour codes. ;)

Yeh I just wanted to no if he made the leads so I can put my own radio in but still have the HK system still working as it does sound pretty good if I do say so myself lol.

I'm sure they don't Q plate um anymore, they get an age related plate but registerd on logbook some how.
