I,ve today replaced r/f unit and now car is dead,when try to start says engine imobilised press key fob but when do this just says engine disabled tried putting old one back on same thing, so now stuck, tried the sync- mate that shows all ok but same thing when try to start. any ideas anyone...

So sorry to have upset one of the senior members not my intention, but being bit stressed over the problem with the motor at the present i admit to just running on a bit please accept my apologies. However i was looking for sensible comments to a problem, not a load of s..t from some ar..hole...

have just read on here ref \\\rangerac becm sounds same problem as i have engine turns over fails to start not attempting to start had this problem just before christmas was resolved by diagnostic ie: fault 27 anti theft codes reset by specialist ,motor has been fine since with no problems but...
