You need to put your key code in, using the key and combination, seems to me anyway

When you entered the EKA Code, did the indicator light on the dash flash to acknowledge each input??

Also, depending on model year, you may or may not need to put in 4 turns to the left (Lock Position first) or is it 4 to the right first...??

Depending on year....

1995 to 1999 - put key in door lock turn to LOCK press the Lock Button, turn to UNLOCK and press the unlock button, open door and put key in ignition and start car...

1999 on - Put key in ignition....although mine is 1999, and I have to do the key in lock trick first...!!

And my 98 requires you to put the key in the ignition, as I found out when my son decided to play with my key

1995 to 1997 press lock/unlock button on fob, then within 30secs turn key in door lock. This key turn signals to Becm to accept the resync.

1997 on friendly resync.Simply insert key in ignition switch and resync is performed automatically.

Oops...got my years wrong!!

If your door lock switch microswitches are u/s and you have non friendly resync vehicle, then you will not be able to enter EKA code nor will you be able to resync your fob.

hi john i think you may have it there that may well be problem, plus the key and fob i have are well worn and its the only one i have
