Hi understand a company called rovacom repairs them you can look them up online i have spoke to them and found them very helpfull, but ended up buying new fob, which resolved my specific problems.

Hi Dopey if you look at page 144 in the owner handbook it tells you. If you haven't got set the windscreen to operate then open upper tailgate,when wiper in near vertical position, turn starter switch to o position to stop wiper moving lower upper tailgate and replace wiper. Just to update on this i now have new key fob and everything on central locking now working fine. Also it works from a reasonable distance so quite pleased. Thinking of sending old key fob away to be reconditioned to someone such as rovacom or suchlike as there must be a problem inside the fob...

Just had new bushes fitted to radius arms and new trackrod bar and ends fitted, made big difference to the ride and steering ,so well pleased.:D:D Mot due in august thought work my way through the list slowly and get it ready in the hope all goes well:lol:

Interesting thread this, have spoken to a few people about this including clarky at recent meet, i have same problem with my 97 auto DSE. and have been unable to pinpoint. as with DONp38.working my way through small list of jobs to be done. have had mechanics listen to this crawled underneath...

Think you will have to replace complete mech !!:(
