    Wheel Alignment

Afternoon All, Just a quick question regarding the wheel alignment on the Range Rover P38. The chap at the workshop said everything has seized as it hasn't been touched for a while. He sprayed some WD40 a few days ago and I just wanted to re-apply some more before I take it back in, in a few...

    Drivers electric seat adjustment issue

Evening All, I've got another issue I'd like some help with. I've just noticed that my drivers seat doesn't function so well. It adjusts electrically in all directions perfectly except when lowering or raising the seat. The sound produced is similar to that of a failed window regulator...

    Headlining

Afternoon All, Just a quick question regarding L322’s headlining… I went to see a 2004 Range Rover over the weekend as I’m thinking about buying another and for me there were far too many issues for me to even consider the car even though the car was described to be in fantastic order (amp...

P38 low on power, strange smell and vibration

Steve, many thanks for the offer! Really appreciate it. It was the HT leads as first thought - I think the previous owner put some Britpart ones on. Now it's MOT time for one of my other cars.

P38 low on power, strange smell and vibration

Thanks for the help guys, I'm going to be dropping the car off to get repaired soon. Steve, I'm based in North London. Doz, I think you may be correct. From what I can tell from previous invoices the then owner replaced the ignition leads as the car was running rough - I think it may be the...

P38 low on power, strange smell and vibration

Hi All, I'm in need of your help again. Just driving my 2002 4.6 P38 back home and noticed a vibration on start up and a small but noticeable rotten egg smell. Drove a few miles (didn't notice the smell again until I was in traffic) and it seemed like it was down on power slightly - it...

    Recommended RR Specialists

Hello Guys, I know this is often asked on the forum but I thought it may be helpful to come up with a definitive list of recommended specialists for Land Rovers/Range Rovers. I'll kick things off by recommending Harris Mayes Country Cars in Rickmansworth, my P38 went there last week and...

    Battery drain - which battery?

Correct, the regulator and motor are separate. I also replaced the battery with the one that was recommended - thanks for all the help.

    Battery drain - which battery?

Found the battery, will order it soon. As for the window regulator, I don't really have the time or energy to tackle it myself - the dealer will only fit genuine LR parts. As for the RF module, they fitted part number YWY500170 - is that the correct RF receiver?

    Battery drain - which battery?

Lookers Land Rover replaced the RF unit a few months back. As the battery got so low, I had to reset the windows and it seems I need to replace my window regulator as well (£160 in parts alone!). I'll have a look at the battery as suggested - thanks for the quick response as always. ETA: I...

    Battery drain - which battery?

Afternoon All, I have a battery drain issue which has just started a few days ago - I think it may be linked to the fact the battery is a few years old. What batteries do you guys have fitted in your P38s? What is the biggest I can fit? I was thinking that this Bosch one will do the job...

    Front Air Suspension Collapses

There are two new O-Rings behind each Collet - I guess it has to be a burred pipe as you said Wammers. I might have another go at it, otherwise I may pop it down to Land Rover.
