Afternoon All,

I have a battery drain issue which has just started a few days ago - I think it may be linked to the fact the battery is a few years old. What batteries do you guys have fitted in your P38s? What is the biggest I can fit?

I was thinking that this Bosch one will do the job but unsure whether it will fit (I don't have the car near me to check). Any ideas?

My car is a 2002 4.6 if that makes any difference.

Thanks in advance.

Check the RF unit is the most up to date model....Datatek recently posted a picture of the latest units.

He also specifies an Alphaline 1100CCA 135A Battery from Battery Megastore (£100 delivered I think) as the largest that will fit!

Slight correction :D

Lookers Land Rover replaced the RF unit a few months back. As the battery got so low, I had to reset the windows and it seems I need to replace my window regulator as well (£160 in parts alone!).
I'll have a look at the battery as suggested - thanks for the quick response as always.

ETA: I cannot find the battery online - anyone have a link?

Look on Ebay for a window regulator, about £60, easy DIY job.
Did Land Rover fit the latest RF receiver?

Found the battery, will order it soon.
As for the window regulator, I don't really have the time or energy to tackle it myself - the dealer will only fit genuine LR parts.
As for the RF module, they fitted part number YWY500170 - is that the correct RF receiver?

YWY500170 is the correct part number assuming that what was in the plastic housing was the correct part.

Which window is it? I need to order one but only need the motor could do you a deal with the regulator itself

Correct, the regulator and motor are separate.
I also replaced the battery with the one that was recommended - thanks for all the help.
