It's common for that intercooler pipe to wear through on that screw or split with old age . Best to replace that one & the 90 degree one at EGR , Also check and clean out EGR valve while your at it , You can also deactivate the EGR by blocking the vacuum hose . Also check the engine breather...

Yes the bottle has A1 for ford on it petrol & diesel engines , Specs are ACEA A1/B1 or A5/B5 on back . A3/B3, A5/B5 and C3 oils are the better quality and good for the TD4 .

Yes you do need a good 6-sided socket , I also found a swivel head ratchet with the handle angled to front of car so it clears the cross member , I light hit with a mallet and mine came undone , Think mine took almost 1 litre before it run out !
