Surely Land Rover dont make their own parts - out sourced and badged as Land Rover. Always thought GKN parts was original fittings.

I like to change my own oil gives me a chance to have a look around underneath the car and also to check the condition of the oil comming out. I used 7L of Castrol edge on the last change bought from Halfords while on a previous special offer. Don't Coscos require a trade card to shop there...

How many miles has your car done? TBH if you suspect the pump to be faulty change it and the filter. Not a difficult job. all the best
