    Whaddon or Essex off road

Sibbertoft is a bit far for me. Prob 2 and half hours. I'm leaning towards whaddon just because I've seen more info on it and it looks ok. Lets hope it rains between now and Sunday! Anyone else going?

BFG Tyres and Wheels x 4

Hi, I've just bought some new BFG KM2 mud terrains for the 110. So looking to sell the wheels and tyres I got when I bought it. I've got 4 x 235/85r16 BF Goodrich Commercial Traction, which is marketed as somewhere in between their AT and MT. So they are a good compromise tyre, I use mine mainly...

Offroading at the Peterborough LRO Show

I saw a bog standard suzuki jimny on road tyres doing the course. Even did the axle twister part at the start which was red route I think. Did leave me wondering why I'd paid to go round the course, but couldn't resist! Won't bother again

    200TDi Alternative turbo options

300 turbo is more enough the same isn't it? I think it might give slightly more boost than 200 as standard

    Carling switch query

For some reason with my 7 carling switches, all of the orange bars are always on, even when switch is off. Never been able to figure out why and mudstuff weren't too sure either!

    Carling switch query

The orange bar doesn't work on that switch as standard for some reason. Remember from when I did mine. From mudstuff website: Switch is supplied with a RWW legend on rocker. Please note the narrow 'on' orange LED does not illuminate when switch is 'on.' We have retained the narrow bar for...

    Antifreeze

Hi, about to put new radiator in my 200tdi 110. Have gone for the alloy type by Bearmach. As it is alloy do I need to use antifreeze with OATs? And is this ok to use on a 200tdi as its not an alloy engine like a modern car? Thanks

    110 200tdi Starter Motor

I cleaned the connection to the stop solenoid this morning and seems to have done the trick for me, its started from cold twice on the first turn and it hasn't done that since the problem arose. So thanks for the suggestion, saved a lot of messing about trying to get access to the starter!

    110 200tdi Starter Motor

Went to pay and play day a few weeks ago and ever since my 110 fails to start sometimes. Basically it won't start cold, a clicking noise comes from engine bay when I turn the key. But if I roll it forward 2 ft then turn key gently it'll usually start. And if I've driven for 10mins, turn if off...

    Front prop UJ failure!

thank you. On 2nd leg of this drive noticed some vibrations in 5th but prior to this nothing out of the ordinary. I have only had it since January and is my first landy so there are probably some noises I considered to be 'normal' but in hindsight may actually be worn UJ symptoms. Guess I...

    Front prop UJ failure!

Had a 200 mile drive on Friday, 190 miles in and nearly home a UJ gave up which put a few dents in the floor and prop caught rear brake line and snapped it! Could have been worse I guess. I have now removed the propshaft, see photos of the damaged bits. I have a 1990 110, which has had...

    Damn wipers stuck upright

Thanks all, they do move with motor out if i pull them but I wouldn't say they move easily by any stretch of the imagination! Where is the park switch located? Did check fuse and was ok, but I will double check the fuse connectors Hmmm think I will check the wheel boxes before I spend money on a...

    Damn wipers stuck upright

Have searched a bit on this but no one seems to have had the same sort of issue. My wipers were working fine. Accidentally hit the stalk whilst driving, windows were dry so wipers went really slowly and got stuck upright. They would not budge at all by hand and moving the stalk now does nothing...
