    recomend a good wax

Hmmm, not strictly true. Being a detailer (one who can also spray paint) I would say that spraying is a skill but one which is a lot easier to learn than paint polishing. I've colour sanded a few motor in the past, mainly to correct paint defects such as scratches but I've also colour sanded...

    Does anyone offroad/greenlane their P38 or L322?

It's excellent off road. Tyres are Pirelli Scorpion road pattern. I do have a second set of wheels now with General Grabber AT's on. They have a bit more bite on wet grass but beyond that they're not a lot different.

    And with a remap, 310BHP, 650lb ft and 28 mpg :D

    Discovery 4 TDV8?

The 4.4 TDV8 will never be seen in Discovery sadly. I tried this with Special Vehicles a while back. What I tried to order was a 3.6 TDV8 in a Discovery 4, all technically possible since it was done in the RRS TDV8. However, SVO actually said if I had been 6 months earlier they would have done...

    Range Rover Sport

Yes, all auto's. And yes, plenty of documented issues with brake pipes corroding, especially on D3's which are subjected to a lot of mud and never cleaned off properly. I'd still buy one as well. Just a shame the TDV8 never made it into the Disco 'cos I would have bought one in an instant.

    Range Rover Sport

Yes, the body needs to come off for quite a few bit including things like brake pipes. Sure you can bodge your way round it but getting the body off only takes an hour or so. You do need lifting gear though but we managed it with a farmyard fork lift. On balance I would say it's easier than...

This is a Range Rover. Sadly.

Really? P38 still looks like a Metrocab to me. Classic will always look good in the same way a Series 1 does, kind of the start of things, which, correct me if I'm wrong, is the same with the Evoque, kind of start of a new era for LandRover. And regardless of the nay sayers, LR are moving into a...

    Recommendations for winter tyres

All through last winter I was running on Pirelli Scorpion Mud & Snow. Worked like a champ for me.

    Does anyone offroad/greenlane their P38 or L322?

Yep, my 2007 Vogue SE has been taken along many lanes. That's it in the middle of that muddy hole and again a bit of fording to wash off the mud :)

This is a Range Rover. Sadly.

Therein lies my only gripe with the thing, price. Configured one on the website and it came out at 46 grand. I could have a nice D4 HSE for that. Thing is though, for all the world it looks to me like they're gonna separate the brands, Land Rover and Range Rover with LR remaining the...

This is a Range Rover. Sadly.

EXACTLY !!! ^^^^ What he said. I drive a L322, live in the country, have sheep, sheepdogs, go shooting, spend weekends fixing stuff round the place etc. I don't personally care what LR sell as long as it makes a profit for them and the original marques remain. Christ, where would LR be now...

    L322 rear wiper motor

One other tip I found was to take the wiper arm off and slightly enlarge the washer nozzles with a small drill in a Dremel. It just makes the jets a little less likely to block up and cause the pressure to fill teh motor up with washer fluid. They're only the small brass ball things which can be...

    L322 rear wiper motor

Was main dealer as I recall. It would have been mail order as all my bits are. Either Nick at Yeovil Land Rover or Dan at Duckworths. Can't put my hand to the receipt right now. I'm actually surprised someone like Britpart hasn't done it yet. Just about all of these fail inside 3 years...

So it has Venture Cam, Oxford leather, heated AND cooled front seats, heated rear seats, bluetooth, 20" alloys, bi-xenon headlamps as well then.

having a sunroof is more about letting more light into the cabin rather than ventilation. Especially with the darker interior colours.

OK, maybe this will help. I've run several L322's and one P38. The P38 was an OK vehicle but I never developed any kind of love affair with it. So the L322. The TD6 is a decent strong motor but not exactly the most powerful. It's more pokey than the 2.5 in the P38 but then the L322 is a...

    L322 rear wiper motor

You can get a rebuild kit for them. I did mine (2007 Vogue SE) which was in a real state. You need the repair kit and a new rear wiper arm, job done. Takes about an hour.

    Omg!

That's nastier than a dose of the clap. FFS, another 2 grand would get an early L322.

whats the difference? l322, vogue or vogue se

If you think like that you'll drive a series 1 all your life. Not even locks on the doors to go wrong there :hysterically_laughi:
