My series 3 restoration required that the bulkhead be repaired as it was in a very damaged condition..... I used a sheet of Aluminium to replace the damage..... I welded it to the existing framework... Good as new.....Chris

I agree they do but.... Once welded in place they become quite rigid...and.. They are the same thickness as the rest of the.. Bulkhead... Its treatment after that also makes a big difference

With my series 3 dash I only recovered the top shelf.... Removed the material from the lower section and.. Painted it body colour.... Got the black material from a local.... Fabric shop

Its happening when its warmed up properly.... I used to have problems with vaporization when hot on my.... Series 3 petrol ..but since I made and fitted the heat deflector below no problems.. A misfire can also be caused by a cracked exhaust valve....

The main thing is.... For a thousand pounds you've got a.... Good Engine and an mot for 12 months and .... The summer to enjoy her :):)
