Thanks for the reply, just realized when I was doing this, I didn't have the alternator wired to the battery, would that be the reason for the light being on all the time?

Thanks, it won't go in gear tho so It's not drivable.

Hi, been working on the landy today getting her back on on the road, It's been stood for about a year know, starts fine but for some reason I can't get it in gear all you hear is the crunching of gears when trying, any ideas

Hi all, just wired up alternator on the series, the 2 wires that are on the back of the charge light have been cut, would I be right in saying 1 goes to the small connector on alternator and the other to any live feed for example the battery cable connecting the starter motor. Thanks

Hi all, been carrying out some wireing on the 2.5n/a engine. There's a few issues that I'm stuck on and anyones help would be great. On the alternator there are 3 spade connec tors, 2 large and 1 small. Can the 2 larger ones be wired together and then go straight to the + battery and can anyone...

Hi, series 3 ready for mot but will fail because of surface rust and pitted chrome balls.

Hi, does anyone know how to, or ever have made a battery tray for a series 3. The landy I bought has had it all cut away as battery was in the back, I don't do any welding so any other options would be so helpful. Thanks

Hi all, just wired up my starter, solenoid clicks away and nothing else, this happens with both starters I have. I have tried these on the battery prior to fitting and they both shoot in and out as they should. 90 2.5n/a in a series 3
