Hi, been working on the landy today getting her back on on the road, It's been stood for about a year know, starts fine but for some reason I can't get it in gear all you hear is the crunching of gears when trying, any ideas

clutch not clearing probably rusted to flywheel it will eventually sort it self if you can drive it

Thanks, it won't go in gear tho so It's not drivable.

Tow it in gear with clutch depressed.
Or take the box out - might need new clutch if its badly rusted.

Have you tried putting in 4th with the brakes on and clutch pedal depressed then using the starter to free it? Takes a few tries usually.

Above replies usually work, also make sure engine is up to temp for a while too, as any additional heat can ofetn help to release it.
