Got a wee bit of a fuel tank problem and hoping that the wise ones will be able to help. Filled up yesterday and when I got home there was diesel dripping from the rear nearside. When I say dripping I mean it had obviously been ****ing out as the chassis rail and rear silencer were soaked...

Thought I'd give this a go today and certainly improved the low down pick up - Result! Needed two full turns on the torx screw mind, and not a trace of smoke. Probably more to go then? Have turned the star wheel round one-and-a-half turns, still no smoke, and the diaphram 120 degrees or...

Evenin' all. Been trying to find the partnumbers for some interior trim clips for my Disco 1. The yellow ones that fit to the body section below the alpine windows. Anyone any ideas? Cheers.

soggytomato, from what I understand the Metro wheel fits the 200tdi, not 300tdi - gathe rthis is a spline issue. Don't know about the other Rover wheels but imagine that there must be some inter-changeability between models.

Had the same problem on my non-airbag 300tdi. Bought a Rover 100 1.4 wheel off e-bay the other day. Same number of splines, fits well and importantly for me is about 2" less in diameter which makes steering a lot easier and saves the elbow on the door. Have a look at Disco Steering pictures...

Just fitted a wheel from a Rover 100 1.4. Fits a treat and is about 2 inches less in diameter, just what I wanted. Only possible issue is that wheel doesn't sit quite as far down the column as the stock wheel which means that the nut won't wind on quite as far. Will probably need a touch of...
