Well you can buy the map files of ebay and get them from, td5 map suite. What is to stop someone getting it remapped by the likes of alivetuning and then copying the file with a test book or similar ? I just wanted a proven trusted map file.

Does anyone know if the likes of Dynachip and alivetuning sell there map files ? Ie for me to apply it to my ecu myself ?

I know how to do the pas as it easy like you say lock to lock, But the ace I'm not to sure. I brought a nanocom so I could have some fun with bleading it :) and to help on the brake lines.

Could you not just buy a second hand aircon pump (around 50quid) and bolt it in place, as dont they spin feely until the clutch is engaged ? Just blank the inlet and outlet off and then once you have removed the ace take it off and sell it again ?

Am i being stupid or something but why do you need a idler for the ac pump if it isnt there, carnt you just buy the belt for ace no air con, as like a Td5 or does it need the idler there instead ?

To be honest i wouldn't go to the trouble, unless it fails the mot because of it. At which point i would defiantly be doing something along those lines. Anything that looks like a cat/dpf will do as long as if you do weld it on you put something in the middle, so if they do be arsey and tap it...
