Urgent cannot undo IRD oil filler plug

Ok I cannot get the oil filler undone. Is there any other way of filling the ird? Besides tipping the car over and filling it from the drain plug. Brian

    freelander Td4 help

The plastic bit is attached to a aluminium frame by rivets do not drill out. If it's the same as mine there are four bolts holding the aluminium frame to the front sub frame and four under the front of the bump/skirt. If that makes sense!! Brian

    Oil Leak L series

Hi any idea's I have an engine oil leak drivers side rear of engine it's lower than the pulley but above the sump. It's engine oil and not from the ird/drive shafts. I washed it all down last weekend but so much has come out I cannot see the source, is there a common fault?. Brian

Can anyone tell me about Freelanders...?

Hi Our 2000 W reg L series diesel Freelander has done 151,000 miles and has had a new gearbox, VCU and shocks, front discs. They say that a well serviced and sensebily driven L series is good for 200,000 Plus miles. I prefer the L series as I belive it's easier to service at home. On the other...
