Erm.....Titanium in close proximity (touching) Aluminium is NOT a good idea.....OK for Steel though....Pretty bling but a tad pointless....Ti still oxidises unless coated....

Hi mate, Nice 100" - Looks extreme! I have seen Buchan offroad club at shows etc and had a look at their website, but I am not quite as extreme as them! My landy is to be used on the road, and I was looking at Pay n Play days or somewhere to have some fun in it :) Im just outside Aberdeen :)...

Having read loads about these ropes recently (tho having no practical experience - yet!) it would seem that an advantage of the synthetic over the wire ropes is for winch challenge competitors - They dont bother reeling in the rope between points on the course, they just chuck the excess rope...

Can you use wire with a Non-Roller, Aluminium Fairlead?

Hi mate, Yeah it has the black breather pipes, the kit i have bought extends them up the snorkel :) I am going to take pics of it and stick them up as I complete the job :) Still not sure about the blanking plugs for Gearbox etc ???

Mine sits nicely at about 55, 60 is starting to push it, but thats on Insa Spec Tracks...Noisy! :P (those are Speedo indicated - I have a satnav to compare the speeds, but not done it yet)

Cheers Vinnie, Yeah Snorkey is sealed ;) Good point about the sliders, think i will get some tree sliders, to try and protect the already lightly bashed and scuffed bodywork :) So many things to do.... ;) My other project (a car) is also underway so im totally skint between the two haha...

Yeah - it does sound like you are being chased by a chopper!!! Think i might have to upgrade the stereo - was struggling to hear it over the tyres! It handles ok on the Insa's, I was worried that it would be dodgy, but seems fine :) Im totally sun-burnt having fitted the bits today tho...

Sure have - on the dual carridgeway!! Man they are loud!!!!! :D Dont want to take it offroad until i have the wading kit tho, might venture down some local dry tracks tonight :) I have been working on it all day! the air in pipe was off just before the airfilter box - is that a common thing ??
