Replaced the gasket on my leaking hub flange. Hope that stops the slight leak.

Duplex is a type of stainless steel. But in this case it's one row of chain or two rows of chain. I know a bit about duplex stainless steel, one of the uses is to make the boxes that radioactive sh!t is stored. Radiation is my specialist subject :D Pretty sure they don't make chains...

Changed the oil in the transfer box. Thanks to bustersbus for the advice to get the filler plug out first in his tips! Mine must have been put in by a gorilla as it was a nightmare to get to budge. If I had dropped the oil first I would have been sweating big style :D

Changed the oil in the main gearbox. The old stuff looked pretty crap when it came out. Looked like really really strong tea, god knows how long it had been in there. :eek: Shiny new stuff in now. Better do the transfer box and axles as well, bet they are minging too.

Had a good drive in the snow. Wasn't sure if the centre diff was locking as the warning lamp was flickering. Seemed to drive ok so I decided its a dodgy wire :) Got home, did a search to see how to check the diff is locking. All is good with the difflock doing its thing. Must be the bulb...

The x-eng pedal lock is brilliant. Really easy to lock and no hassle to store. No chance of getting whacked round the back of the head by it in a crash.
