Hi, I'm 17 too just had this problem, none of my left sidelights worked so I took everything apart and found the wire from the switch had burnt out. So i replaced it and its all good. And for insurance try aviva van insurance! I'm the main driver and its £1500 a year

Overall it cost me about £150, thats including the hire of the space heater, paint and sanding discs. And I'm just going to get tops of the wings and bonnet in chequer plate.

Yeah it's marking pretty easy, finger prints and that. But I hope as the paint gets harder it doesn't show as much
