Drove mine to the garage (its 2nd home) to take care of this tapping noise in the engine baie and replaced it with a FT-86 for a photo shoot tomorrow morning... Btw the engine noise on this car sounds like a coffee bean grinder...

Thanks Wammers When I drop the car the 21 I will tell them about the error message that showed up again, it may help them to locate which tappet or the area where to look. But what bother me in this is that the tappet noise is only loud when cold, since the past two days we have 25 to 28 here...

I agree with you, and this error is for a Jaguar, however, the Garage that take care of my P38 and that only deal in LR cars checked with their reader and also read a misfire on Cylinder 7.

I can confirm that this is the guy indeed! I contacted him when I had the "TWANG" problem on my P38. I was going to use his services but he had too much work on his plate to send me a reconditioned box quickly so I went the expensive way and bought a new one that was apparently build in 2008.
