I think its more likely there would be a fault on the towed item than through the socket... I dunno if theres even any...

prep, prep, prep, prep and more prep. When you're ready to paint, take your time and do thin coats, layer it up rather than one rushed thick coat, sand in between to keep a good key. You'll get an alright finish by just bunging it on, to get a great finish takes time and patience. Good luck :)

I've tried to search for the answer but its difficult when you don't know what it is.... The doors on my 110 are determined to slam shut on any appendage left in the way. The check straps are there and so are holes on the runner. What's the bit called that would stop it closing and any ideas...

brush and gloss rollered my whole truck last week and the finish came out great. used smooth black hammerite straight to ruston my bumper and rear x member. it seems to have spread itself out after i finished and has a great finish. if id dne more/better prep work.... it comes down to time...
