They got one tyre off yesterday, the guy said there was some sort of bead lock in the wheel. These are LR Disco wheels, do they have bead locks or is some sort of add on thing? I will take pictures as soon as I get them back.

3 shops have now tried. I have someone coming to get them, I told him to cut the fu#ker$ out with a torch as long as he does not damage the tires/tyres.

Got it done. 2 were slightly loose, the rest were fine. She quieted down a bit, sounds lovely. Runs really nice, the idle seems to have gone up just a pinch. Timing belt is next on the list. Thanks.

Installed a Gwyn Lewis suspension kit about 2 years ago. When installed she was sitting a bit high in the front. I figured the weight of the engine, the winch and the ARB winch bumper would bring it down. Does not seem to be happening. What's the best and safest way to get the rear up an inch...

I have the the same problem, Complete new brake system, calipers, pads, lines ,servo. Everything changed front and rear disc brakes. Changed the master cylinder 3 times! with brand new MS's. EZ bleeder 5 or 6 times, reverse bled 5 or 6 times and traditional bleeding at least a dozen times...

What's better for off road, 15" or 16" wheels? Why? Thanks.

Mine was a cheapo ebay thing, looks and feels solid but rattles really bad. Keep in mind mine is a pick up back so a little different from the others. I have an idea that I will soon try to fix the noise. Otherwise.....bye bye.

What mods have you done that you wish you had not done. I installed a rear mounted spare tire rack. HATE IT. Yes it saves space but what a rattly , noisy piece of ****e.:mad:

Everyday is x-mas for Pumkin. getting valves adjusted this weekend, hopefully. Then replacing the timing belt as I now have all the tools needed.

I suck air at about 1/4 tank. :eek: I look for fuel when she hits 1/2.

Got a new one. Just called my mechanic and am gonna get it done ASAP. Could I have done any damage by leaving it so long? She is running great, very little smoke and really not that noisy.
