Hi there, I would check the fuse of the airbags and/or see if the passenger airbag is switched off perhaps for driving with a pregnant lady or (sad) to put a baby on the front seat. I don't know for sure but I think the passenger airbag can be switched on/off with the ignition key.

Hi, Last week I spoke to a BMW driver about the cranckcase breather. The part is apperently not maintenance free. At about 80.000km/ 50.000miles it should be cleaned. But, that is a lot better than the original.

I don't know what a gaylander is :D, but I trust my Land Rover Freelander Td4 for it over and over again. Last year made two trips over this distance each in two days. This year certainly one trip is planned.
