New to the forum, new to Land Rover

TD4 is the better one. Keep it well serviced because the car deserves it. I drive it on and off the road. Never got stuck, yet. Keep in mind that the car has it's limits like every car has. Know these limitation and you will not get stuck. If you go off road than do it with a club of...

Freelander 1 What mileage is your Freelander 1 on?

Just had my Dutch MOT last Wednesday. Mine is from Oct. 2005 and done 185.151 km. So that's about 113.450 miles. Add about 300 miles since last Wednesday. On and off the road, with and without something on the towbar or the roof.:D

    A thing of Beauty

The rubber rings were to prevent it from making a rattling noise of the plate. Further the guy says that the plate reflects the noise of the engine more and doesn't absorb the noise of the engine as good as the original. However looks good. Btw he used a 4mm aluminum plate.

    A thing of Beauty

Very nice job done. Thumbs up. How is the noise in the car now? On the Belgium Freelander Forum someone had done this but he had to place rubber rings and something else to keep it from making extra noise because this doesn't absorb the engine noise. Looking forward to the idea on the...

    Got stuck today!

That's true was regarding your: but afterwards, most of us probably know all too well what we should have done to avoid getting into that situation in the first place, but it's all hindsight isn't it. Till now I didn't get stuck yet. patronising little f*cks like you? Are you now talking...

    Got stuck today!

That's true. But I think the post you made is just asking for patronising. Further I wouldn't call my car a gaylander, but I let you when you feel better calling your car so. :)

    Got stuck today!

As I said before. It is better to think and drive. Even when you let someone else drive your car. You should know, when you drive off road more often, never to trust that something that looks like a small puddle is a small puddle. There are some basic rules. It is also important to know the...

    Got stuck today!

Twice hè. Maybe it is better to think and drive before blaming it all on the Freelander. I know guys with Series, Lightweights, Defenders and Discos who are well impressed over what my Freelander and I can do with it and where I follow them. There are no childish feelings or remarks like...

    snorkel

Hi there, On "our" Belgium Freelander Forum there was a member who fitted a snorkel to his Freelander TD4 facelift. But he had to shape and bent things himself to make it fit. Personally I don't like the snorkel and for the rest of it: Too much bling bling for me. The airvents on the...
