Yes, but afterwards, most of us probably know all too well what we should have done to avoid getting into that situation in the first place, but it's all hindsight isn't it.

Just annoys me that so many people come across as being very patronising on ere and say "you should do this and shouldn't do that blah blah" but I'm willing to bet that all of us have at least a couple of "oh ****!" moments a couple of times a year. (except for the 90% of gaylanders that don't go off road - but at least they still get the thrill of HGF!)

That's true.
But I think the post you made is just asking for patronising.
Further I wouldn't call my car a gaylander, but I let you when you feel better calling your car so.

How so? Are you telling me you never get stuck? Like I said, I'm pretty sure most people have got stuck on here but most are probably not quite so open about it, possibly because of patronising little f*cks like you?
