Yeh im getting the cable today to wire it into the engine bay. Ok i wont go to mad with the silicone and i think i might keep a plastic bag wrapped around it. I take it this could never be used under water then?

To make this waterproof should i fill it with silicon where the 4 cables go in and around the edge? What about where the remote cable goes in and the switch? Its a winch-it yeti 13000lb

What do i need to do with this for it to be ok to go under water? Seal it up with silicon? Put it in cab?

Im going to go down your route and have it on- off only, there is a thermo switch/dial under the hood but that might be why the other fan didnt work so ill scrap it :)

If it was me because im **** with working out whats what, id get the ring connector and wire them direct to a switch then to the battery, ya cant go wrong then lol Thats just me though, that way ya have a choice of having them on or off when ya headlights are on main beam
