    moved fuel line today as when I was stood still in hot weather I got vapour lock (engine died on acceleration...let foot off and away she went) ran fuel line away from engine..fingers crossed it won't get too hot also put an egr blank in my 1.6tdci focus

    appreciate the reply Dominic, my breather cap didn't have an o-ring in it so I fabricated my own and now its a really good tight fit into rocker cover..with engine running I can feel an ever so slight puff puff coming from breather cap, I guess this is just recirculated and mixed with fresh air...

    muchos gracias. so I stick my dial gauge in no1 plug, rotate on compression stroke and mark pulley when dial stops moving..then rotate it back the other way and marke when dial is fully up/stopped moving-and midway is TDC cheers fellas

    cheers Dr and Dom, I have a DTI that I can attach, its possibly not long enough reach to hit the piston face down the spark plug hole so I will have to attach something to it first. Joe
