common fault on rovers an freelanders is seized or partially seized fork arm as lets face it theres no difference between gearboxes which may of caused your slave to go in first place as it wont be releasin the bearin fully so the next thing that will happen is your thrust bearin will start squealin

td4's have dual mass flywheels an when they get really hot it knackers em up but your know if ya dual mass is knackered as you normally get a judderin on the clutch pedal an the slave cylinders on a td4 are a pain as they just float over the input shaft an they do melt ive changed a number of...

what year is it if its an early 1.8 then u wont need to change flywheel as its a solid flywheel anyway an to be fair the standard luk clutch for freelander is fine an will cope fine just make sure u change the gearbox oil an its just a normal release bearing put u could be havin problems with...

we get them reconned for around 400 pound thats with 12 month warrenty an we charge 150 quid for fittin that also includes a 12 month warrenty an comes with all new oils an if u wanted a new clutch while its out i believe it is an extra 75 but would have to check with our supplier for current price
