hi all In two weeks I pick up a new {new to me ;-) } caravan, its 8ft wide, so I am guessing I need some mirror extensions..... what type / make do I go for ? "standard" tow mirrors strap or fasten to the normal car mirror as there is enought length, but will the same type of mirror...

SORTED..... the solenoid has a small wire with a female connection on going onto a male spade connector connected to the starter / solenoid, this had worked its way loose and a "wiggle" sorted it............. got it home and have made the connection a better fit.... see what happens

ALL Last week my TD5 decided not to start, had full set of ignition lights, all normal, turn the key and nothing...... then after two or three attempts it started.... Same happend 1st thing this morning.... However when parked just at our local McDonalds same again.......... only this time...

standard Halfords wipers i did a like for like swap for new ones..... its a cheaper Britpart wiper motor though no a genuine landy one.....

hi recently fitted another wiper motor after last one failed, problem is now I have too much wiper sweep, ie the drivers wiper touchers the bottom of the windscreen and the right hand side window rubber..... on the wiper motor is a small nut ? what does this adjust ??? any help welcomed...

why would you need to cut it down ???

did the opposite side have decals fittde ?? mine is a 110 CSW and took both decals off years ago.....

mine are 30psi all round with General Grabber TR fitted

Hi All I have a yr 2000 TD5 in a 110 Defender, how do I find out if it's a 10p or 15p engine ? whats the differences between the two engines ? do they run the same R380 gearbox ?

I have the disco trans box, l235/85/16 tyres, just done 440 miles at a steady 70mph {can push 80} and got 32.9mpg....... very happy with that {TD5}

in thepicture you have two rubber tubes pictured, the one I have fluid {looks and feels like oil} is the shorter one of the two

Nothing appears to be coing from the head or rocker... all very dry... it looks like its from the 3 inch pipe located under the starter motor.... bt where does that breath for ? ?
