Yeh remove the towbar if you don't need it. It'll act like a plough. I use mine so have to leave it on and make do. Get some decent recovery points front and rear too. You'll need them if the weather stays like this. Lol.

Looks like he's knocked the wheel forward from those pics, may have bent the trailing arm putting the axle out of line, hence the pulling. Any visible damage to A frame or suspension etc? Do feel sorry for you though, hope it all gets sorted quickly.

I crack snap on impact sockets all the time using a snap on air gun-That's using them as they're designed. But I do agree snapping a screwdriver while using it as a screwdriver would take some doing.

Because yours has drums on the rears too the shoes like to stick inside the drums, mine does this everytime I park up after driving in the wet and then leaving for a few days. I just put it in gear and snatch it forward off the clutch, normally frees itself after 2-3 gentle tries and is fine then.

Just don't put anything in the boot.....it might fall through the hole where the boot floor used to be

To be honest mate, giving in a list of suggestions probably won't be much help. The dealer will have to work to strict procedures set out by LR to get the warrenty claim paid. They won't start ripping the engine apart from suggestions off a forum, it's more than likely the technician will have...
