Gutted I'm having to sell now, house move and f'ing stamp duty to blame!! Good doors and bulkhead, bulletproof 2.5petrol engine (don't be put off, it will follow a TDI all day, just don't stop in water, lol). Wheels and tyres less than 1k miles old. New wheel bearings and brake pads just fitted...

Any specific type of roller you used? Gotta do mine at some point over the summer. Hopefully it'll end up something like your finish. Ohh and as you said theres loads left, would you think 2.5L wpuld be enough to do a 90 (hard top)? Thanks

I'm also putting this job off. Ill have to do mine outside so have to wait for better weather. Can't decide if I want to be lazy and use a roller or borrow a compressor and spray it. Its Something I'm not really looking forward to as I've never done a full respray (or repaint) before. Yours is...

Think I put 10w40 semi in mine. The filler cap is on top of the rocker cover (these crazy British designers), think it doubles up as a breather if I remeber rightly, just pull it off and top the oil up

Why didn't you say to him your not welding all the way around, then tell him why so he knows what's going on.

I've no use for these anymore as fitted bucket seats. 3 single front row seats to make a sort of bench seat, with origional frames/mountings. All in good condition, may have been recently refurbished as foam is very firm and comfortable, thet don't feel like they're 23 years old. No major rips...

Nut and bolt rebuild from the ground up with a new galv chassis, so it will hopefully outlast me!! (With a few toys bolted on if there was any left over)
