maybe ignition switch? pull the cowling off and ave a look.

which pipes do i need to inspect ive had a look today but cant quite figure out which ones you mean is it the big turbo intake pipe or the 2 little ones underneath?

ive got the same problem :mad: its the window regulator mate i just unplugged the motor but make sure you do this while the rear door is closed because when you open the rear door it drop a little bit so the glass doesnt catch on the door trim. Also dont try and open the door once youve...

also every so often it misses ive never had a freelander so i dont have a clue

there is a power loss when the lights on but if i put my foot down before the light comes on its fine and as to the smoke theres none? The alarm keeps goin off but i think that maybe the ignition switch thats causing that maybe?

ive just had the same problem, change the ignition switch on the back of your ignition. Unscrew the ignition cowling (2 screws underneath) and its the black thing on the end of the ignition barrel, theres 2 screws holding it in,. try wiggling the wires leading to it if that works then you know...

i had the same problem it turned out it was the exhaust back box rattling against the back bumper

hi, ive just purchased my first freelander and ive got a few niggles. First of all was the dodgy ignition switch got that sorted! But theres one problem that frustrating me. After accelerating after about 30 seconds of driving and not changing up or down gears the engine warning light comes on...
