Fitted an exhaust guard

Well mine fitted and that's what came off, I guess it depends what engine and auxiliaries you have running/under there

My 03 TD4 with air con has a 150amp one, and with everything running, heated screens front and rear, headlights, max fan, air con running, it needs it to continue trickle charging

All fixed! Power fault was a nakered alternator and loss of power turbo boost solenoid kerput. Although the turbo breather filter was full of mud so next mod will be to raise it a bit higher

Turned out to be the alternator, returb'd one fitted now good as good. Just lack of power issue to look at now, turbo and air filter first I reckon

Sounds good to me, do you have any pictures as just try to establish how it would work with my current v shaped flange towbar. Have you received much interest?

Right tomorrow is D day for the alternator, have spent the week cleaning and flushing from above to no joy. Yesterday I took the belly plate off and jet washed my belly and hubs. Cleaned the alternator from below and removed the last of debris, fort with the little plug for an hour and...

Update, after having the battery on charge all night the wife drove to work fine today and easily got above 75mph...... Seperately, what size output does a normal alternator on td4 with air con have? Can't find anything conclusive and everywhere seams to suggest either a 100 amps, 120 amps or...

I've already checked the fuses and unfortunately they are all good. Cheers for the suggestion about turbo hose, will have a look as part of my wash down. Hippo, car in front went through fine, I floated, stopped and then sunk, hense the delay in pulling me out
