I'm looking to mount a tow bar with drop pin hitch on the rear providing it will work with an exhaust guard. Any one else purchased anything else suitable that's still on the market?
How does everyone get recovered from the front, I've trawled the net trying to find something suitable. Are the standard ones ok off road? They look a little flimsy.
Any suggestions appreciated before i get the angle grinder out :)

The front and rear through bumper rings are rated at 4000KG'S iirc so would be ok for off road recovery as long as the mud is'nt too deep!! ;)

Never been that stuck to need anything more than the standard towing eyes. Usually if you get stuck going forwards then you get recovered in the opposite direction. There are eggsauce guards on the market with recovery points fitted on them.

Yeah I was going to steer clear of all kinetics Mick, don't fancy it breaking and firing towards the windscreen

It's not good, but on the flip side, did you see the kinetic rope top gear used on one of there pole expeditions? It looked a lot better than any of the others I have seen.

If your getting a Mantec exhaust guard, it has a 2" receiver......so just get a recovery hitch for it. :)
