Bought a 1998 300TDI Auto this morning ..Test drove it and it seemed OK..However on driving it home when it was at a steady 30MPH the revs fluctuated from 1000rpm to 2000 rpm causing it to accelarate then de accelarate?? Any ideas ? TIA

Well I speak as I find .I ran a classic with a VM lump in it for 5 years and it had a hard life but it pulled better than any 200TDI or 300TDI Ive owned since and theres been a few ...32mpg body fell off the chassis but that lump always started used no oil or water .I know most slag them...

yes done it, but now no pedal at all tried bleeding but not pushing enough through..left bleed nipple open for a few hours see if it would self bleed but no again ..Master cylinder??If so wheres the cheapest place to order one ?mate said there are two different ones for my year

Just gone out to bypass it and the pipe going down to the damper looks like it has a female fitting on it ,The pipe going into the slave is a male when you did yours did you join these two together?rgds don

Just bought a 300TDI driving home the clutch pedal went to the floor I managed to flick it back up and got going again..Got it home and found out its got a leak on the clutch damper..Question is the thread on the end of the pipe from the master cylinder going into the damper the same as the one...

I was thinking my local fabricater would bend the outers for me .Then cut sheet correct size for inners ..Its the size of the outers I really need..Iwas going to cut away whats left and retain the top inch on the inners same with outers ..Thought if I got the mearsurements I could get all the...
