Tis a bit fiddly but use 2 thin knives and believe it or not you will feel the knives push the clip away from the side. Then gently lever it out. There are 3 sockets at the back and they are all different sizes so you won't put the wrong plug in the wrong socket. You'll also save a fortune. Land...

First thing I did when I got my Disco 2 was change all oils, engine,gearbox, front and rear diff, and filters. Then I have just kept Keith (the name kids gave the car) up to date with maintenance. So far i have had trouble free motoring and long may this continue
