If you met me you would prob deem me a tree hugger! Dreads down to my arse (Used to be my knees) and lived in buses/narrowboats all my life. However... don't generalize, take peeps as you find them rather than making assumptions and being negative towards anyone that opposes what you do. I and many travelers love greenlaning and offroad vehicles and have absolutely no probs with it. Pretty much the only vehicles(apart from buses) I have owned have been Land Rovers since age 19, and lots of motorcycles! I have lived in boats for the past 10 years because of ill informed opinions that have made living on the road nearly impossible. We have one life, are all created equal and should be able to live the way we want as long as we do no harm to others. Think you met some teeny wannabe's? Before anyone judges me for a slightly different lifestyle choice (not that they have the right) I have never ever claimed any benefits, have always worked/paid taxes.Have run several successful businesses and earned /paid my way. Never left a mess or camped illegally. I love living under the stars and being aware of the changing seasons and hate being tied down to a pile of bricks/mortgage, that to me is soulless and I cannot be happy living that way. I am 45 and will live this way til I shuffle off this mortal coil. I have no problems with the way other peeps live, it's just not for me. Enjoy your greenlaning ( I know I do) and do not let anyone spoil it for you.
(Edit to add) As far as hunting goes... the only prob i have ever had is overkill. As long as every bird gets used-no probs. I have a problem with wastage, when so many go hungry, as that to me does seem a bit immoral. It would not make me come and judge you for doing something you enjoy
