    Great Dane + Freelander

Get a better ramp made of aluminium. You could get a telescopic one made that slides open to full length to make it less steep for the dog to climb but packs away small enough. Perhaps modify a telescopic step ladder.

top 7 tips when buying a freelander 1

Another tip. Buy one that's had only one owner from new if you can with FSH and no expense spared. You find that cars with more owners generally have been less reliable, hence the hot potato effect.

What have you done to your Freelander today

Oh and to get the fuel filter out of the plastic housing, If you have kids with a garden trampoline use the tool for installing the springs (hook with a handle bar on) make a hole in the filter and then put it between your feet and hook it straight out. Easy peasy!

what to lookout for on a td4

Theres a good few things to look out for as with any secondhand car. Particularly the 4WD system is an expensive beast to put right, so search google for threads about VCU, IRD and rear diff. Otherwise check everything works on the car as usual. Sunroofs can seize, electric windows can stop...

    Opinions on wind deflectors wanted

Just recently bought my freelander that has Heko (in channel ones) fitted. Cant see a problem with them nice tight fit. I bought Climair ones for a previous vehicle which fitted the same way and were top notch if a little expensive.

    Egr Blanking Mod

Just received the Bearmach egr bypass unit from rutts 4x4 on ebay today. Made of aluminium and looks like good quality workmanship for the price. It also has the vaccum hose plug/holder welded on and the inside of the unit is straight through without the bit that would go the the egr hose being...
