I maybe wrong but the SRS light on the dash currently will not fail the mot test.... I think VOSA are revising that in april 2013 to make MIL and SRS lights a failure item on test J5

Ello chaps and chapesses, does anyone know of any good offroading pay n play places in the east/west Sussex area's????? I know the reused to be one at Golding barn and one at copsale.... But I think they've now closed down as its been years since I've been able to go offroading..... Any info...

I removed the standard seats from the flip up bases, modified the runners to fit the bucket seats, and then bolted the seats to the flip up bases and hey presto, yes they still flip up to give access to the rear! Yippeeeeeee......

I have just fitted a pair of bucket seats to my disco 1 that I got off eBay..... I had to modify the runners as the seats are narrower than the standard lr seats.... A bit of perseverance and work, but they fit fine now

Seats were an ebay find for £50! for the pair! i think they came out of a MR2......

When i can find a decent kit at a decent price! lol

Replacing your standard seats with leather ones should be easy, as long as you get the same seats... i.e if yours is a 5 door then get seats from a 5 door to replace with, have a look at ebay for example this auction is for a complete set of seats ..... Land rover discovery td5 grey leather...

I was told (i know never to believe the hype) That my 3.9efi has RC87 Camshafts fitted Tried googling etc etc but cant really find out much about them, Anyone heard of them???? J5

I got the seats from ebay, they were originally from a toyota MR2 so they are narrower than the 3door disco flip up bases, so a few modifications were needed to get them to fit 1/2 sensible..... They do still flip up to allow access to the rear but im going to cut the back off to make a disco...

No worries..... I will prob keep them and use the others (16') for offroading.... j5
