Late last night stripped it all down again checked everything , even tried old filter back in and you off egr by pass but just the same , so put new mod filter back in , and refitted the egr by pass check all plugs etc , pulled off injector Plugs all seemed fine . So all built back up and still...

Ok thanks I will strip back and check again , I see in some posts they had to cut there upgraded filter to get it to fit in housing , I found mine a bit hard to fit but seemed OK , or does it need cut to fit correctly.

Where did you cut the upgrade filter to get it to sit right.

Thank you someone had snipped off my bit of hose and just turned filter round. Lol.

Can someone advise , the small breather filter on end of tube down back of engine , mine has been taken off and turned round , there's an arrow on the filter , should this ARROW point Into engine or point to the ground . And other end which just hangs down towards the ground have any tube on it...

Thanks hope mine helps. I bought the egr by pass but every time I fit it you can't see for smoke So hoping this and changing the sensor in the air intake makes a difference, Although I got cheap fault reader but it came up no codes ,

11 v glow plug would it harm to them to test them with a 12 v battery , Thanks

When I pull plug on mine ticking over and go round and rev it up there seems to be no miss etc. . Seems to not make any difference plug on or off , I have revved it up to and held it at around 2500 rpm .

Wish I had known but ordered one today , although it's a after market , hope it's ok. Many thanks.

If engine is running and you pull the plug off the map sensor and it makes no difference then would this mean it's not working at all.

Update just put old egr back on and miss is away , running nice and clean with a little whiff of smoke at 3000 rpm when stationary, don't under stand what caused misfire unless I disturbed something .need to wait now until it's cold to see what happens then . Well just thought I would say , took off manafold cleaned all the grunge out , removed egr it's was rotten inside , Replaced it with blank off from auction site , stainless steel and good fit . Then the dreaded glow plugs , replaced all 4 and tested the old ones on the battery when removed and...
