Have been working all weekend so not got a chance to look at it,will have a play with the emulator tonight and maybe have a go at the immobiliser tomorrow..

The nanocom i ordered came friday,think i'm gonna try and disable the EKA and Immobiliser Any other suggestions what i should do with it that might leave car more reliable?

what are the fixes that brian and marty have?

had to google what superlock is:) would it be worth while diabling that as well?want to try and minimize chances of it not starting...

New p38 owner,have only one key and it won't unlock the doors with the button which doesn't bother me as it will rarely be locked but from reading this and other sites there seems to be immobiliser issues,I'm wondering would it be safer to just bypass immobiliser. it was a bit of an impluse buy,have no real use for it so it will probably be lying up most of the time. but have to admit it's starting to grow on me now :)

was thinking of putting an isolator/cut off switch on battery,is it any harm to disconnect battery when not in use?

At the car again this evening and found a pipe had come away from the map sensor. All seems to be good with it again. Wouldn't have figured it out without ye,thanks for all the help.

Just had a quick look at car,couldn't spend very long at it but the hoses seemed fine. Will be weekend before i get near it again. Might just bite the bullet and order nanocom...

after ordering oil and filters for gearbox so hopefully that might help.Do the auto boxs give much trouble?

i need to rev it up quiet high before it will start to move so maybe it is the brakes binding?
